IPV and TBI EVENT NOV 18th 2021

The head, neck, and face are the most common sites of injury in victims of IPV. In the immediate aftermath our goal is to support the victim short term in becoming safe and stable. What we fail to identify is when this assault causes long term damage to the brain. Join us for a journey across the province, as we explore what organizations are doing to respond to the issue of IPV and Brain Injury. We hope you can join us as we define the issues, and explore the work being done in 4 different regions in Ontario. As we hear the response to the work being done we invite the audience to discuss what our next steps should be and to join in the response to the issue. A round table discussion will conclude the presentation along with the potential to connect with the presenting services and we will use the event as a catalyst for future action.
