BIANBA AWARE aims to reduce the impact of brain injury and cognitive disability, lower the risk of financial abuse, and improve financial security. It will do this by providing support groups, educational sessions and volunteer training to individuals and caregivers impacted by cognitive disability.

Beginning in November 2020 until October 2021, BIANBA AWARE will offer FREE monthly virtual presentations, videos, and practical tools/strategies on various topics to increase Financial Empowerment and decrease Financial Abuse. This is available to survivors of brain Injury, caregivers, volunteers or community members.

We have created a FREE Volunteer/Support manual to assist in training volunteers, staff, and support people to reduce the risks of financial abuse for individuals living with ABI.  We want to share this FREE resource across the province for anyone who is interested.  /websites/ AWARE Volunteer Support Training Manual Sept 2021.pdf If you have questions, comments or would like a training presentation, please email:
